Creamy Tomato Orzo with Ground Beef

Ingredients
- 1 lb Laura's Lean Ground Beef
- 8 ozs Gluten-free orzo
- 1 1/2 cups Water
- 1 cup Dairy-free heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tsps Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 15 ozs Diced tomatoes
- 1 cup Tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp Dried basil
- 1/2 tsp Oregano
- 1/4 tsp Marjoram
- Dash of cayenne
- 1 tsp Umami powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tsps Minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 cup Fresh basil (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
- Dairy-free parmesan for topping

Preparation
1. Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Sir in the orzo, diced tomatoes, all the seasonings, water, and garlic. Reduce the heat to med/low and cover for 5 mins. Remove the lid, stir well, add the dairy-free heavy cream. Cook for an additional 20 minutes. Stir often to prevent the orzo from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Once the pasta is cooked and sauce is reduced, toss in the fresh herbs.
2. Top with parmesan. Enjoy!
