Ingredients
- 1 lb Laura's Lean Ground Beef (96% lean)
- 2 tbsps Salted butter or olive oil
- 1/4 cup Vidalia onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup White potatoes (cooked, cubed)
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 3/4 tsp Onion powder
- 3/4 tsp Ground black pepper
- 3/4 tsp Kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 cup Shredded cheese
- Refrigerated puff pastry (17.3-ounces, thawed)
- 1 Medium egg (plus 1 teaspoon water, mixed for egg wash)

Preparation
1. Add in the ground beef and remaining spices and cook until browned.
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
3. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the puff pastry to a 12x10-inch rectangle.
4. Using a pastry cutter, cut the rectangle into 4 smaller rectangles.
5. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
6. Sprinkle on cheese.
7. Add egg wash to the inside edges of the pastry to form a seal.
8. Add top layer of pastry and crimp edges.
9. Brush pastry with egg wash and repeat until all the pastries are ready to bake.
10. Add pockets to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
11. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
12. Serve warm & enjoy!
